Caged ladder specifications:

Ladder length 1,100 mm.
Ladder width 650 mm.
Start of cage 2,200 – 2,350 mm.
Including the necessary wall fixing brackets

• According to current regulations, the maximum free space between the standing surface and the roof edge is 75 mm. In order to meet this requirement, a ladder can be fitted with:
• A landing platform 200 mm., at the same height as the roof edge.
• A landing platform, 400 mm., resting on the roof edge. In this case, the ladder is mounted ‘off-floor’ (wall-mounted). For off-floor mounting of fixed ladders of up to 2.00 metres, one of the wall brackets will be replaced with a stand-off wall bracket.
• Requests/orders should clearly state whether the fixed ladder will be floor-mounted or mounted off-floor.
• For roof edges more than 10 metres above the ground, staggered landing platforms are mandatory every 6 metres.
• Free-standing caged ladders (not wall-mounted) can be supplied up to a maximum bridging height of 5.50 metres. In this case, the caged ladders are made of sturdier profiles and are supplied with rail anchor blocks.
• Fixed ladders and caged ladders can be anodised or delivered in (RAL) colours if required.
